Midway Multicultural & International Affairs

The Office of Multicultural and International Affairs fosters a campus community in which diversity is cultivated and celebrated. The OMIA supports the academic achievement and personal development of underrepresented students and assists in enhancing the understanding that all Midway students have of themselves and others. The OMIA recognizes that diversity, social change, and equality must be approached with an understanding of social intersectionality. Students are encouraged to challenge their beliefs and boundaries by taking advantage of study abroad opportunities, participating in in-depth discussion of current events, and attending cultural programs. The Office of Multicultural and International Affairs is housed in the library, where students, faculty, and staff are free to visit and seek out resources.
