MIK's Ice Cream Parlour

Welcome to MIK's, where we make fun frozen treats for everyone! Whether you are out enjoying some of the area's finest events, having your own private function, or looking for something cool and refreshing, MIK's will quench your thirst, and your need for something completely different. You can enjoy our products at our Slush Truck, at our store, or at your own private event or fundraiser, through our slush machine rental and fundraising programs.

Slush Truck:

We are excited to bring our drink selections to all of Thunder Bay from our Slush Truck, which is equipped to serve a variety of frozen beverages. We also have soft serve ice cream (combined with slush = MIK's MIX ...an amazing combination which makes a creamsicle-style treat in any flavour)!. Look for us this summer!

MIK's Ice Cream Parlour:

Our newly created ice cream shop is located at 113 West Frederica Street (near the corner of Edward and Frederica, in the old credit union building). Just look for the bright green awning.

Our specialties include homemade flavoured hard ice cream, rich homemade sauces, and delectable cookies and pastries, ready for topping with your favourite ice cream. We also have traditional soft serve ice cream, served like no one else in Thunder Bay. Of course, plain vanilla cone cones are always on the menu, but let us jazz up your cone by infusing it with authentic flavours, such as real peanut butter, Nutella, strawberries, caramel or chocolate. We have regular cones, waffle cones and awesome, one of a kind waffle bowl sundaes. We also have a variety of homemade hard shell toppings, such as chocolate, peanut butter, confetti birthday cake, blue raspberry, cherry, toasted coconut or caramel. Our MIK's Mix is still our specialty, and with at least 5 to 6 flavours of our premium slushies available at any given time, it's hard to decide on a MIK's Mix flavour favourite ... they are all so irresistably good!

Slush Machine Rental Program:

Are you having a party or get-together, a Shag or corporate event? MIK’s extensive line of frozen drinks are delicious, trendy and perfect for any occasion. Our rental process is hassle-free, and our machines are simple to operate. MIK's has various DIY or all-inclusive packages, all of which are reasonably priced and include delivery, set-up, product, and clean-up. We can even supply the cups and straws. The hardest part for you is deciding which drinks best suit your occasion.

MIK’s has no shortage of delicious and colourful slush flavours for you to serve your guests, not to mention 100% fruit juice/no sugar added slushies. We also have bar mix to liven up your drink menu (you add the alcohol), such as Margaritas, Blue Hawaiians, Pina Coladas and Daiquiris, to name a few.

Fundraising:

Shags and fundraisers do very well when selling slush drinks. At any cash bar event, our rental packages will pay for themselves in no time, and you control the profits. Our full-service, all-inclusive fundraising packages guarantee high profits and a unique service at your event. As the host/hostess, you do nothing but reap the rewards.

MIK's is happy to support school, athletic and most charitable events, and we offer high profit margins to these organizations. Remember that we do offer healthier alternatives, such as 100% fruit juice/no sugar added slushies.
