The Millennium Student Center opened in Fall 2000. Constructed of red brick and stone, the Center features a dramatic three-story rotunda, escalator and fireplace. The building is connected to the North Campus Quad, between Lucas and Clark halls, by an enclosed climate-controlled pedestrian bridge that spans a valley that in time will host a series of attached lakes.
Student-related services, previously scattered about the campus, are now under one roof providing students with a "one-stop shopping" experience. The Center also houses the bookstore, food services, two student lounges, a conference center, and a bank.
