MCFS operates under the principle that all students deserve equal access to the technology necessary to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required for success in school, the community and the work force.
MCFS provides businesses with a impactful way to donate used computers; any unusable equipment is recycled. MCFS is R2 and ISO 14001:2004.
MCFS employs and trains inmates to refurbish donated equipment, giving them job skills and an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to society and to their personal rehabilitation.
MCFS places customized computer systems in schools and educational nonprofits for a nominal fee.
Since 1997, MCFS has placed more than 68,000 computers, giving 4.4 million kids increased access to technology.
