UechiRyu Karate-Do is one of the original styles of Karate from which all modern styles are derived. It was originally taught in China to an Okinawan man named Uechi Kanbun. He later brought the art to mainland Japan and it was eventually brought back to his homeland of Okinawa from where it spread to the rest of the world.
