Mistical Design

Hello my name is Gwendolyn Lee I am a 60-year-old Graphic Arts student with Independence University. My hobbies consist of making crafts with beads and making dream catchers for friends when I am not working on my class projects or playing my online MMO games. Playing my games however is what got me interested in taking graphic arts.
I am hoping that after I finish my schooling that I can get a job with a gaming program creating the characters and/or scenery in the games, and also designing and creating the type of clothing that the characters will wear. I think something of that nature would be very exciting and a lot of fun to do.
I come from a medium size town in Arkansas called Jonesboro, I have 3 grown children with 8 grandchildren between the three. In Jr. High school I got interested in drawing and sketching and went through classes in the seventh grade but after that it just kind of went away with a lot of other things. Most of my life our town was just a small town with nothing in it that actually pertained to any type of Arts so there really was not much to get me interested in it, and we had one really small print shop that only printed out black-n-white. We now have art classes in our ASU College, an art studio, and a couple of fine arts theaters. We also have several print shops that does it all from A-Z, Black-n-white and any color you want. And we are still growing. I still hope to do work with the online gaming programs, but I also feel confident that if I choose another field of design that I now have the knowledge to do so.
