Mitchell Park Domes

The Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, also known as The Domes, is a Milwaukee icon. The beehive-shaped (not geodesic) glass domes, 140 feet in diameter at the base and 85 feet high, offer 15,000 sq. ft. of growing space for plant display. Each dome has a distinct climate and exhibits plants in a naturalistic setting. These are the Desert, Tropical, and Floral Show domes.
