Mito's Doner

Turkish döner has become the most popular street food in much of western Europe. Now Mito brings it to Michigan. Our tender, juicy döner is made with sliced halal beef (no ground meat), flavored by Mito's secret marinade.

Ottoman chefs invented the vertical spit for meat roasting. We carve the beef thin as it is roasted by flame, and serve it fresh and hot. We also serve chicken kebab and offer vegetarian (including vegan) versions of our wrap, naan, and bowl.

Turkish cuisine evolved over centuries as a fusion of Central Asian, Caucasian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Balkan cuisines. If you've never had real Turkish food, you are in for a treat. We use fresh vegetables, high quality halal meats, fresh yogurt, and herbs and spices to bring you a small selection of the vast array of Turkish offerings. We specialize in döner kebap. Have it in a wrap, on top of warm naan bread, or with rice pilaf. And vegetables. Lots of crisp vegetables. At the end of the day, we throw it all away and start fresh. No leftover salads or meats here. And no deep fryers. Just fresh, healthy ingredients to create fresh, delicious food.
