MizzouThon

Since 2008, we have worked with the MU Children's Hospital to support pediatric patients in mid-Missouri. In our inaugural year, we donated $13,500. In March of 2014, we hit $176,290.55, but our level of emotional support has never changed.

This year, we're kicking it up a notch.

In a bold gesture of support, MizzouThon has signed a $1 million pledge to fund the renovation of the largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in mid-Missouri. We view this as a way of investing in the tiniest of patients. It is part of an effort to ensure a bright future for not only these small patients as individuals, but to ensure a bright future for our world, as these kids are our future leaders, educators, innovators and caretakers.

With this donation, the MU Children’s hospital has generously named the wing the MizzouThon Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Our NICU donation adds to a continued five-year pledge to support the hospital's TeleHealth Loving Care program, music therapy program, Cancer and Blood Disorders unit, and provide salaries for teachers who help hospitalized kids stay on top of their schoolwork.
