Modern Mystic Yoga Academy

The Modern Mystic Yoga Academy~MMYA~is an underground, unique Yoga school specializing in Yoga Teacher Trainings and Transformational Yoga Journeys that provide the ideal conditions for one to develop their own signature style and personalized sadhana. These are not your typical teacher trainings or yoga vacations. Many styles are covered, including Kundalini Yoga and various types of Hatha Yoga and students are able to practice what they have learned in retreat setting in order to best determine what works for them.

MMYA’s mission is to provide the support a yogi needs to dive deep into the wisdom that can be gained through practical application of the authentic yogic lifestyle, but with the added element of how to translate that personally to a life in these modern times. The Modern Mystic Yoga Curriculum includes but is not limited to:

Study of the ancient yogic texts from the Upanishads to the Yoga Sutras
Sequences and recommended approaches for Yoga to ease Anxiety/PTSD and other speciality trainings for specific populations for healing the modern day issues people currently face

How to develop the Mystic Hero’s Stance in one’s asana practice
Mystic Sequencing: Developing intuitive abilities in leading yoga classes
Subtle body anatomy, as well as physical anatomy
An introduction to Sanskrit
Mystic Meditation modules: Building a practice that leads to Dharana, Dhyana and ultimately Samadhi
