Taz received her undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University and her Master's of Physician studies at the Univeristy of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. Her specialty is Family Medicine and Endocrinolgy and is Nationally Board Certified. She was born in Bangladesh and raised in London. Her love for medicine comes from her passion to heal. She supports lifestyle modifications and preventive medicine. She is concerned with health care issues dealing with hypertension, diabetes, and thyroid diseases.
