Monterey Center for Spiritual Living is celebrating its 65th year this year. We have been in our historic building on Franklin and Pacific since 1962. We are part of the global organization of Center for Spiritual Living based in Golden Colorado. We are a New Thought Church teaching the philosophy of the Science of Mind. Dr. Ernest Holmes, the founder of our movement and developer of the
Science of Mind philosophy, gave this definition for his teaching:
Religious Science is a synthesis of the laws of science, opinions of
philosophy, and revelations of religion, applied to human needs and
