Montessori Country Day School

Tucked away in the serene country setting of western Flower Mound, Montessori Country Day School continues the Montessori Program that established its reputation in the community over 25 years ago. Serving families for a second generation, children experience a home-like environment that creates a sense of security and comfort. Each child follows an individualized lesson plan tailored specifically for him after careful observation and close attention by the teacher. Children develop focus and attention. A traditional Montessori school, Montessori Country Day School follows the nine basic disciplines. The four major areas of concentration are Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics and Language. The Social Studies (Geography and History) and Physical Sciences complement the four basic areas. Enriching these areas are art, music and perceptual motor skills.
