Montessori School of Fairfax

The Montessori School of Fairfax is a family centered school that serves children from ages 18 months to 11 years. We have been serving our community for over 15 years, and we’re continually growing and expanding our services. We have one toddler class, three preschool classes, and our newest addition of two elementary classrooms for kids from first through sixth grades.

Our Montessori Directress, Mrs. Amiri, founded the school in 1997 with a passion for teaching young children and a dedication to preparing them for successful academic futures. Mrs. Amiri has been teaching for over 25 years and her teaching staff represents experienced Montessori professionals. Our school is known for its traditional Montessori teaching along with a warm family feel that makes both kids and parents excited about coming to our school.

We offer morning classes for toddler and preschool, full day classes for kindergarten and elementary. We also offer before and after care from 7:30 a.m. through 6 p.m. to make it convenient for working parents. A hot lunch is provided for all full day students, and language, music, and physical fitness classes are also available.

We’re proud of our school and have hundreds of happy parents and children to show for it. We are always happy to host tours of the school to show off our school and let families experience what we have to offer. Regularly scheduled tours are held at 9:30 a.m. on most Wednesdays, but we will gladly schedule private tours to accommodate schedules.

Our school is recognized by the American Montessori Society and was named one of the Best Montessori Schools in Fairfax!
