Moose Manor Resort & Motel

Moose Manor formerly Tylenes motel was built in 1951 by Bud Winter and ran as a successful vacation spot for over 6 decades
Originally the motel which was log at the time, and the restaurant next door were one property, and in the first few decades even had cabins and a gas station.
But in time the properties were separated and the cabins removed (although there is still one original cabin 1/4 mile down the road)
After a few years of non operation the restaurant was bought in Sept 2016 and beautifully remodeled.
It then opened it's doors again in April 2017 It is now called Big Bay De Noc Family Diner.
( And we have to tell you... YUM! they did a great job)

And this of course if great for our guests as they can walk from our parking area for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

In Dec 2016 We purchased Tylenes motel and the Moose Manor was born.
Our goal is to create a family oriented motel resort hybrid, with top notch customer service and fun.
We welcome any suggestions you may have to continue to improve upon that goal.

The inaugural opening In June 2017 saw many improvements to the property.
The addition of 2 extended stay units that have full kitchen amenities will allow guests to stay for longer periods of time. This will let them take in even more of this fantastic area, which has so much to offer.
The full remodeling will continue through our 3 year plan.

The 300 feet of beautiful sandy beach across the highway, with a large park like setting will amaze you with the clear water and gorgeous sunsets.
