The Moosehide Gathering is a biennial summer event founded in 1993 by a group of dedicated Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in (Hän) people who wanted to celebrate their cultural traditions.
The event is a celebration of Hän traditions and culture, held every second year at the heritage site of Moosehide village. It’s an inclusive event that brings together people from across Canada, Alaska, and even visitors from overseas. Come share in First Nation culture – enjoy performances, guest speakers, feasts, dancing, drumming, singing and more. Artisans among you are invited to bring arts and crafts; musicians are encouraged to bring instruments. Catch up with old friends and make new friends. Everyone is welcome at Moosehide Gathering 2014, July 24th-27th. Contact Tyla Crowe or email tyla.crowe@traondek.ca or visit www.trondek.ca for details.
Mähsi cho and thank you to all of our friends, old and new, who help make Moosehide Gathering happen.
