Volunteers are a vital part of the Museum's infrastructure. In 2013 Museum Volunteers donated over 31,000 hours of service; that’s the equivalent of over 15 paid positions. Volunteers really are a part of every department at MOR and we could not run without them; specializing in Security, the Children’s Discovery Center, Fossil Preparation, Family Days, Tour for Tots Teachers, Docents, Administration, Histology, Collections, Dinosaur Digs, and our Annual Program Committee, volunteers do it all!
This is a page to celebrate all of the contributions and hard work to the Museum of the Rockies!
We are currently accepting Volunteer Applications for our Docent Program. Docents give the Guided Tours throughout the Museum and complete an exciting 10-week training program beginning mid-September. Contact Blair is you're interested in joining our Volunteer Community!
