Mount Calvary Lutheran Church (LCMS)

The first worship service was held December 24, 1939 led by Rev. William Werling with about eight families. Services were held on the second floor of the Starr Theater. Other services were held in members homes, and in two buildings on North and South Main Streets, and finally the Quonset building in front of the current Antwerp Public Library. This is where the name Mount Calvary Lutheran Church was dedicated. In 1967 the congregation purchased the land and constructed the current Church. The current Pastor is Rev. Robert Becker.
