Mount of Olives Christian School

In the village of San Gregario in southwestern Nicaragua, the Mount of Olives Christian School works hard each day to serve the children of Nicaragua with the love and teaching of Jesus Christ. Born out of the desire to provide a Godly education for the children of the San Gregario village, the school opened in February 1997 and has since grown from 35 preschoolers to more than 350 students enrolled from preschool through high school.

The Mount of Olives Christian School is a ministry of Baptist Medical and Dental Mission International (BMDMI), whose mission is to evangelize the lost, disciple the saved, and minister to the needs of the poor throughout Honduras, Nicaragua, Nepal and around the world. The Mount of Olives Christian School operates under the leadership of BMDMI Missionary Cathey Johnson and an excellent national staff.
