Mount Zion Church in Godwin NC

Located on Highway 13 next to Martin’s Meats

We would like to invite you to our small church to worship and fellowship with us.

We are an old fashioned church still preaching the old fashioned gospel in a new fashioned world. Mount Zion Church began 103 years ago from a tent revival just across the road from its present location.

We have strived not to let this present age influence us. We still use the King James Bible since it is the closest English translation to the original language the Bible was written in. We are not a King James only church, we just prefer this text. It also makes it easier to follow the reading in a church service if all use the same translation.

We believe there is only one race of people which were created by God, descending from Adam and Eve. We welcome all people.

We are non-denominational. We do not judge people because of the denomination to which they are accustomed.

We are fundamental in our teaching sticking to God’s Truth, not man’s belief. We realize people can have their own distinctives and convictions.

We are an independent body of believers. We answer only to God and not a board of directors or other leaders. We also believe that all true Christians should have no problem fellowshipping one another on the earth no matter their church affiliation. We will be in Heaven together so let His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Our pastor is Adrian Green. Brother Bobby Page is assisting while Pastor Green is recovering.
