Mountain Park Dragway

Since the gates first opened in 1963 Mountain Park Dragway has been the destination for Race Fans seeking a family oriented, professionally operated, and centrally located Drag Strip with consistently accurate timing and a top notch racing surface and safe shut-down length. The Kennon Family, who have always owned the facility, retained operations in 2001 and began updating the track immediately. Some improvements include new grandstands and bathrooms to accommodate larger crowds, extended launch pads and concrete barriers. Some of the most elite events in bracket racing are held at MPD because Promoters, racers, & fans alike want a hassle free and enjoyable experience and our 50th Anniversary Season will add even another level of excitement to the years events!
