Mountain Tuff Athletics, LLC. focuses on self-defense training and how to avoid being a victim in Iowa. We are currently teaching Womens Self Defense / Rape Prevention Classes and Kids Anti-Bullying / Kid Prevention Classes. The Women's and Kids Self-Defense classes are taught on Saturdays for 4 hours and during the week for 2 hour blocks, twice a week. *Call for details on the next class in your area. Steve has been a Police Officer for 12 years in which he has worked in fields such as; Highway Patrol, S.W.A.T., U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Narcotics and Gang Enforcement. He is also an Arizona Peace Officer Standards Training certified General Instructor, Physical Fitness Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Taser Instructor, and Carotid Restraint Technique Instructor.

Prior to his law enforcement career, Steve was in the United States Marine Corps where he served as an Infantry Marine and Battalion/Force Recon Marine (Special Operations). He also has training in Wrestling, Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, and Mixed Martial Arts.

Steve has over four years of investigation in Child Kidnapping and Sexual Assault / Molestation cases. He has over 100 arrests of Sexual Offenders in the State of Arizona.
