A public golf, swim, and country club nestled in the heart of Central Pennsylvania. You are not likely to find a more memorable round of golf in State College, then at Mountain View Country Club. Our public country club offers the service and quality golf experience you would expect to find at a private club. The natural beauty of our surroundings and our professional and courteous staff brings golfers back to our club throughout the year.

Built in 1963, the golf course was operated as the Elks Country Club until spring of 2012, when new ownership revitalized the facility. In 2012, new ownership has upgraded both the golf experience and the clubhouse, which is nestled among the hills offering panoramic views of Tussey Mountain. There is also additional outdoor space with new slate patios, perfect for an outdoor reception or wedding ceremony. For your overnight accommodations, Mountain View also has golf packages and special rates available at The Ramada Conference Center, which is our affiliate hotel.
