Dr. Beckwith's treatment philosophy is simple. He wants to give you the most beautiful or handsome smile and healthiest bite possible.

Starting orthodontic treatment at the appropriate time is the single most important variable for achieving the best results in the least amount of time. Sometimes this means starting at age 7, while other times we need to wait until as late as age 16. Dr. Beckwith follows the recommendation of the American Association of Orthodontists that children should receive an orthodontic evaluation around age 7. This does not mean that every 7-year-old will be ready to begin orthodontic treatment. An early evaluation allows Dr. Beckwith to anticipate the need for orthodontic treatment and select the appropriate time to begin.

Dr. Beckwith believes that in addition to providing the best orthodontic care, he and our office team have the opportunity and responsibility to be a positive influence and even role models for our young patients.
