Welcome to Moxee Brewpub and Mad Mouse Brewery, where we fuse regional American dining with a small-batch brew house and craft cocktail bar.

“Small-batch” underlies everything we do here—from the brew house to the kitchen. We’ve gathered recipes from 26 years of cooking and travelling, and we strive to provide the community with a place that individuals and families alike can call their local spot. Moxee is located at historic 724 Maxwell St. in the heart of University Village in Chicago, Illinois.

At Moxee, we do what we know best: Beer, BBQ, and good lookin’ scratch cookin’. We’ve been all over this great land and like to think of our menu as an ongoing love letter to America. Each dish carries something special we’ve encountered in our travels, and we’ve been fortunate enough to hone some of our recipes at our sister restaurants—Prairie Moon in Evanston, IL and Wheatberry Tavern in Buchanan, MI.
