Mt. McKinley Clear Alaskan Water

Family owned and operated by life long Alaskans, Mt. McKinley Clear Alaskan Water is bottled at the source in Hatchers Pass Alaska. The artesian well produces over 100 gallons per minute and is an ADEC approved class A water system. It is fed by an underground aquifer that is roughly the size of the Yukon River. Due to the vast amount of water available there is no need to store the water in holding tanks to await bottling, hence no points of contamination, therefore no need for chemical sanitization of the product water. The source has been extensively tested, is of very high quality and is constantly monitored as required by FDA and ADEC.
The bottling facility is built to FDA and Environmental Health standards and includes two state of the art pressurized rooms where the bottles are rinsed and filled. They are designed to eliminate airborn contaminants.
Generally bottling facilities need not concern themselves with the possibility of contaminants being present within the empty bottle itself because their product water is either treated with ozone or chlorinated and the bottle is sanitized as it is filled by the product water. Unfortunately these processes also change the taste and quality of the water. Instead our facility employs a system that rinses the bottles separately with water that is injected with an ozone level of 3 parts per million for 5 seconds. This is referred to as hyperozonation. It far exceeds the .5 parts per million that most facilities use to sanitize their product water and bottles simultaneously. We prefer ozone over chlorine as it leaves no residue and is completely dissipated by the time the bottle reaches the filler, leaving a clean, safe receptacle for a totally natural water. In addition we flush our whole line with ozone prior to and after every production run to ensure complete sanitization of the system with out compromising the quality and mineral content of the product water.
