Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church

A church was started in 1898 by several members of the White School Community and was called General Baptist. Later on August 24, 1913 the church officially organized with help from First Baptist Church of Dawson Springs and the name Mt. Pisgah was chosen. There were nine charter members William Reason and Dona Board, M.F. and Ellan May Creekmur, Ellis and Donie Creekmur, AW Holeman Sr., Athie Young, and Edna Coats.
