Mt. Zion UMC is committed to engaging disciples for the transformation of the world. We serve together to revive, renew and exceed the congregation’s corporate memory of vitality, joy and excellence in ministry. In order to realize our vision, we believe that we must commit to:

Celebrate in Worship—Lead the congregation in planning worship that is Spirit-filled, creative and engaging in order to recapture our legacy and take it further. The entire worship experience must reflect the glory of God.

Connect as One—Add ministries that maintain a clear distinction between ministry to adults, young adults, teens, youth and children. These ministries are meant to fully engage members and make new disciples.

Share Your Faith—Reach new disciples through Evangelism is essential to the ministry. Our vision is to work together to identify new and innovative ways to share our faithful witness in the community.

Serve Like Christ—Continue our missions, United Methodist Women, United Methodist Men and Prison Ministries as well as engage more members in community actions.

Develop Your Faith—Conduct mid-week, age level Bible studies, Sunday and Saturday schools for spiritual growth and prayer.

Stewardship—Model and teach stewardship as a biblical, spiritual act of worship that stresses giving and managing our time, talent and treasure.
