MU South Farm Research Center

South Farm Research Center includes commodity-specific research farms and research support services, which provides equipment and labor for many of the projects. The research center is home to the Swine Research Center, the Beef Research Center, the Turf Center and the Horse Farm.

South Farm supports the research, outreach and teaching missions of animal science, plant science, veterinary science, biology, engineering, botany, biochemistry and other disciplines, in addition to assisting research and demonstration projects in entomology, poultry and maize genetics.
