Duck Dog training out of Cabot, AR. We train in a very family and client oriented environment and treat your dog as if it were our own. Our goal is to train to the best of our ability and exceed expectations in the field.

Basic Duck Dog (3- 4 months)
In this program your dog will thoroughly learn all obedience commands (sit/stay, here, heel, kennel in/on) and be collar conditioned with electric collar to commands. Your dog will have gone through the duck hunting intros (gun fire, birds, cover, dog stands, decoys etc. ) as well as gone through Force Fetch. By the end of this program your dog will have the fundamentals down and will be able to do easy to moderate single retrievers delivering the bird to the heel and sit position until commanded to drop the bird. This is a good program for someone on a budget or wanting to get the basics down to continue training themselves.

Seasoned Hunter (5-7 months)
In this program we will further training beyond the Basic Duck Dog Program to teach longer and more difficult retrievers as well as creating a very polished Duck Dog. Essentially your dog will learn Moderate to difficult Singles, Doubles, and Triples. Obedience will be polished and your dog will further its manners. Force Fetch will be advanced to teaching Moderate Straight Lined Blinds and simple 4 Handed Casting (Hand Signals). This is a perfect program for someone wanting a hunt ready retriever.

Advanced Retriever (7+ months)
In this program your dog will have already learned everything from the basic and seasoned programs but will further training onto more difficult retrieves and blinds. Your dog will be tested to the max on multiple retrieves and we will start to craft your dogs Blind Retrieve ability. Technically difficult retrieves will be tested and taught; Swing by, honoring, and diversion will be advanced. By the end of this program you will have a truly advanced retriever with a lot of fine-tuning under his/belt.
