In April 2013, the Boulder History Museum purchased the Masonic Lodge building at Broadway and Pine Street. This 16,000 square-foot building will become the Museum of Boulder, a state-of-the art museum with highly interactive exhibits exploring Boulder’s past, present and future. It will include the creative endeavors that originated in our community and contributed to making Boulder what it is today. In addition, the building will contain a gallery to house world-class traveling exhibits, an interactive Maker Space and a separate children’s museum for our youngest residents.
The Museum of Boulder will serve as a vital cultural resource to connect people to our dynamic community, past and present. It will be a place of great inspiration, stimulating creative thought and designed to help us better understand and more effectively navigate the world in which we live.
