My page is about my clinical work, providing music and sound therapy to people who are chronically ill with serious illness, suffering from advanced dementias, or preparing to die. I am a well-seasoned musician and therapist who has been doing this sort of work for nearly forty years. My major instruments are piano and voice. And very recently I have added a new sound healing technique called Human Biofield Tuning to my modalities. I am available for work in hospital, hospice, nursing home and in-home settings. I also see clients at the home healing studio in Barre, Vermont. I have authored one book, entitled Musical Encounters with Dying: Stories and Lessons, published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers, London. (I have another Facebook page under that title's name.) And am in the process of writing a second book, titled The Musician Healer: Transforming Art into Medicine. I occasionally teach young music students at New England Conservatory, Boston, about the possibility of using their musical talents in ways that serve those who are suffering.
