Sheila Ingram,, Certified Etiquette Consultant, and active community volunteer, founder of My Girls” Mentoring Young Girls Implementing Respect Love and Support” and WINPOP “ Woman In Pursuit Of Purpose”. A Recording Artist, Author, Seminar and Conference Speaker, Host of Radio broadcast “The Sheila Ingram Show”/ Television Personality Pastoral Counselor and Holds a Masters of Ministry.
One of Sheila’s missions in life is to empower girls to be proud of their unique selves. She strives to instill confidence and character in girls. She is on a mission for girls and women to believe in themselves, to love who they are, and to know where they are going.
Professionally, Sheila has headed her own company “The River House Day treatment Center where she supervised a staff of 30 individuals, together they offered services to those who had to overcome the challenges of Mental Health Issues, creating programs and activities as well as counseling for those who suffered from Depression, Eating Disorders, Body Image, Self-Esteem, and other teen/adolescent issues.
She designed the “My Girls” program with hopes of girls developing their inner-beauty and self-confidence, forming ‘My. Girls ‘with aspirations of guiding girls to realize their self-worth, to respect themselves and others, and to be independent young women who noticeably shine in their future. Her life’s ministry is to “Empower Girls and Women for a Promising Future”.
To date, Sheila Ingram My Girls program was a pilot program at her Etiquette School, The Etiquette Hour in North Carolina, there have been many girls who have been positively influenced and affected by the workshops and one on one counseling sessions.
Sheila Ingram has been awarded a New York, City Hall Citation for Community Service for her extensive work in non-profit programs and New York City Public Schools. In the Bronx New York. The My Girls program has been used as a model program for youth in Bronx New York and special request from private organizations. Sheila was awarded the 2009 Cambridge Who’s Who of America’s Professional and Executive Women award for community service.
As a survivor of a divorced household, Teen-age pregnancy and overcoming her husband being murdered by Gun Violence the day of her daughter’s birth, Sheila knows and understands the importance of having a safety net and support system to ensure a healthy mental, physical and emotional future.
