Myakka Family Dental Care

Dr. Oberlander received his bachelor degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois in 1980 and his doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1984. He practiced for six years in a group with several dentists, a periodontist, and an orthodontist. He then established his own practice on the north side of Chicago where he worked until 1996 when he and his wife moved to Myakka City. Dr. Oberlander then practiced in Arcadia, Florida, until 2012 when he opened Myakka Family Dental Care. He regularly takes advanced education courses to keep his skills at the highest level.

Natalie Neuhaus-Tarin is of Swiss and Mexican heritage. She graduated from the Charlotte Technical Center and received her dental assisting with expanded functions certificate in 2012. During her internship, Natalie had the opportunity to work with several different dentists and a periodontist. She lives in Port Charlotte.

Natalie loves animals and has three dogs. She enjoys shopping, kayaking, interior design, and DIY projects. Natalie is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish.

Elena Goltsman grew up in Russia. She studied biology and chemistry in college, and then received her degree in dentistry from Yakut State University in Siberia. Elena practiced general dentistry in Moscow from 2001 through 2005 doing restorative dentistry and root canal therapy. She immigrated to the US in 2005 and now lives in Myakka City. She received her license to practice dental hygiene in Florida in 2008.

Elena is married and has two daughters. They have pet dogs and fish. She enjoys traveling with her family, going to the beach, and doing home improvement projects. Elena is bilingual and speaks English and Russian.
