Mygedtutor.org's founder, Dave Turner, attended Western Oregon University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in English; he then earned his Master of Arts in English at Oregon State University.

Dave has taught at OSU, Chemeketa Community College, Eastern Washington University, and Spokane Community College, where he taught GED and High School Completion courses for eight years.
