Nadia's Dance Studio

Nadia opened her studio in September of 2013 with much success!

Nadia began dancing when she was four years old at Mrs. Stevens in Lakewood, Ohio. At the age of eight she moved to Perry and studied Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, and Lyrical with the Fordu School of Dance.

In fifth grade Nadia attended her first competition and continued to compete through her Senior year in High School.

After High School she continued her studies at the University of Akron. There she learned Martha Graham's Modern Dance Technique, Russian Ballet, and Russian Pointe. Her teachers were former Ohio Ballet performers and Nadia was on the track to becoming a professional dancer. Due to an injury, she decided she needed to change her career path and began taking courses in Early Childhood Education. Nadia is currently a licensed teacher working in Euclid, Ohio.


She has also been teaching creative movement to 4-5 year olds, as well as beginner ballet to 6-9 year olds at Body Rocks Studio in Euclid.

A few years after switching majors, Nadia found herself continuing her studies in dance as an adult, just for the love of it. She is currently studying the Cecchetti Method and plans to be a member by Spring 2014. Upon completion of the program, she will be able to offer Cecchetti classes and exams for the more serious ballet students.

Her passion and drive for dance as an art form is what makes her classes so fun!
