NAMI Austin

Thousands of volunteer members and supporters in communities across the country are the face and voice of the NAMI movement. Our families, individuals, and friends come together to give and receive help and hope. NAMI is families and individuals who have experienced mental illness, who work each day to raise awareness and provide essential—and free—education.

We advocate and offer education and support group programs for people living with mental illness and their loved ones. With more than nine education programs— including support groups, community meetings, and other outreach—NAMI is a vital resource for individuals and families when they need a place to turn.
