Nantahala Lodge

Nestled in five heavily wooded acres of beautiful hardwood trees, situated at Nantahala Lake NC is the Nantahala Mountain Lodge. The Lodge is a traditional log cabin with all wood interior, of the 'old school' hand hewn Appalachian style Architecture. The Lodge has been redesigned with hikers in mind; our services include pick-up and return to all the major 'Trail-Head' locations with additional slackpacking options available. This Lodge consists of three private bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, one female bunk room (3 per), a large bedroom (5 beds per en-suite), No plastic matresses, no sleeping bags, all linen provided, all designed with your comfort in mind We have a full kitchen a separate dining room serving wholesome meals and snacks, an office and Outfitters. Our services include, a full change of clothes, laundry facility highspeed internet, free long distance, HD TV, 'Drop-Box' option. Hikers will enjoy watching TV or playing games in the large open plan living area with high vaulted ceiling beams and the stone fireplace keeping the cabin warm and cozy. When available, we have included Blueberry Hill as an accommodation option, the cabin is for guests of Thru-hikers only.Your guests can await your arrival and spend quality time with you during your stay here in Nantahala. The cabin consists of two Queen beds, fresh towels, soap, shampoo and is graciously appointed. This is for two people only, any additional person must be authorised and must be booked in advanced.
