In 2005 the dance choreography duo Tabitha and Napoleon Dumo decided to create a fashion line that would inspire creativity, a sense of fun and a unique blend of style and comfort. Their efforts gave birth to Nappytabs and since its inception the brand has become well known throughout the dance world for its funky, fun prints and harem style pants. Nappytabs gained popularity so quickly that Tabitha and Napoleon decided to open a store front in 2010 in the arts district of North Hollywood California, and since the store opening they have continued to push the boundaries of trends while also unifying Dance, Music and Art through Fashion.

As the brand continues to grow it has been seen on a host of celebrities both in and out of the dance world. Some examples are Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Fifth Harmony, Julianne and Derek Hough, Romeo Beckham, Willow Smith, T-Pain, Zendaya, Columbus Short, and the Jabbawockees. As well as in many television shows and movies such as American Idol, X Factor, So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Best Dance Crew, The Step Up Movie Franchise, and most recently Battle of the Year staring Josh Holloway.

In a relatively short time Nappytabs has grown to become a true competitor in the street wear market. Their passion for new trends as well as re creating old ones makes their brand truly stand out.
