Nash Lions Club

We have created this page to be better in touch and involved in our communities and those surrounding us. We are an organisation of volunteers who spend countless hours on projects important to them and their communities. If you would ever like to attend a meeting you are more than welcome, we meet 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm or 18:30. We have our Signature Activities which are as follows:
APRIL: We sponsor our Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Lions Park across the street from the Lions Posey Building. Children of every age are welcomed, we have 5 different age groups and designated spots for them to be, Parents can get close for those pictures. There is always Lots of Fun to be had. Each child who attends is given a $1.00 Golden Dollar. Each age group also has 1 Golden Egg to be found and that egg earns those lucky children and additional $5.00.
MAY: to celebrate Memorial Day we place American Flags and VFW Women's Auxiliary at the New Home Cemetery on Friday prior and remove several day following Memorial Day. On the Sunday prior we have our Memorial Day Supper, start serving 11:30 am to 1:30 pm or until Everyone is served. Everyone is welcome and you can make a donation if you would like, NOT REQUIRED. We don't want anyone to miss this merely for financial reasons, we usually have plenty of left overs and are more than happy to package those for you to take home for later. We also offer TO-GO boxes for those unable to attend. We are happy to deliver it to you locally.

NOVEMBER: Our annual Thanksgiving Dinner with all the trimmings. It is held the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving. We start serving at 11:30 am to 1:30 pm or until Everyone is served. We have a donation box available NOT REQUIRED. We don't want anyone to miss this event for financial reasons, we also have plenty of left overs and are always more than happy to package those up for you for later. DECEMBER: In the spirit of Christmas we have a very special guest, SANTA. Each child has the opportunity to sit with SANTA and have pictures taken, they are given a goody bag. With Hot Cider, Coffee as well as Homemade cookies and deserts. Then stick around for the DOOR PRIZES and RAFFLE, No purchase needed.
