Natalia at Plush Salon

Natalia started her career in 2011, becoming “one of the hippest stylists in St. Petersburg, FL” a place she loves dearly. She knew that she was destined to be an artist from the time that she was born. Originally from Northern Virginia, she was raised and encouraged to explore her natural creativity in many ways. Her grandmother, a hair stylist, trusted her at the age of 3 to cut her hair, the picture of which is still at her workstation.



Previous to hair styling Natalia worked in fundraising for a nonprofit organization, “One of the biggest reasons that I chose to pursue a career as a hairstylist was as a result of the fulfillment I had while helping sick children build confidence in themselves. I wanted to dedicate my life to doing this for as many people as I could.” For Natalia, the most rewarding part of the hair styling experience is watching her clients look in the mirror and feel beautiful.



Albie was a guest at one of Natalia’s fundraising events and she thought, “What a cool looking dude, I bet that VLVT is a fabulous salon to work for!” And it was. Years later while in Cosmetology School she began her apprenticeship with Albie. She continued to study under him for 2 years, learning his dry cutting technique. She is continuously learning the latest techniques and ever changing color trends.

Natalia’s specialties include natural looking color, balayage, ombre, fashion colors, dimensional blondes, long layered cuts, short textured cuts, classic and new age men’s cuts, kid’s cuts, Brazilian Blowouts, all kinds of braiding, eye brow shaping, long lasting curls and wedding/ special occasion makeup and styling.
