Living in the country is a different life. It isn’t always the glamorous life some may think, it’s hard work, however, it does pay off knowing where your food and household supplies are coming from! And I’ve seen some beautiful sunrise’s I may have missed if I hadn’t gotten up to go out to the barn and milk and feed! We have a small farm a little ways out and enjoy having our own dairy goats and chickens along with some other critters. Fresh vegetables from the garden are a favorite thru the growing months. And making our own Apple Butter each fall has become a family tradition.
When you purchase Natural Nook Farm Goat Milk Soap, you can be sure your soap will have ALL NATURAL GOAT MILK in it! We milk two times a day and use the fresh milk for our soaps. Our goats are well kept, in clean pens and pasture area. They are wormed with herbs and fed high quality grain. We do not use powdered milk, canned or store bought goat milk which has been pasteurized, canned, cooked and made non nutritional from all the processing. Goat milk soap is very good for your skin, here are just a few benefits of using it!
♦Most name brand soaps sold at the store are full of detergents, chemicals, and alcohol. All of these are very drying and harsh to our skin.
♦Goat milk has a PH very close to our own skin. It’s very moisturizing and great for those with sensitive skin. (We make a plain bar with no essential or fragrance oils also!) Alpha-Hydroxy acids found in goat milk are believed to have a rejuvenating effect on our skin. It is chocked full of emollients and vitamins, including vitamin A, B vitamins niacin, riboflavin, B6, and B12. This natural cleanser has been used for years.
♦Glycerin is another advantage. All handmade soaps produce glycerin when they go thru the saponification process. In commercial soaps this glycerin is extracted for other products. But with handmade soaps the glycerin is left in. Glycerin is known to be a wonderful remedy for skin problems such as psoriasis and eczema, it also helps with dry skin, skin allergies, and anti-aging. There are plenty of studies out there to read to find out more about the benefits of glycerin.
♦Oils used in handmade soaps are WONDERFUL! Olive oil, coconut oil, and palm oil, just to name a few, they help hydrate and repair the skin.

Choosing from the Essential Oil Soaps you will get an all natural soap bar. If you choose from the Fragrance Oil Soaps, you will still get a natural bar of soap, however a very small percent of the fragrance oil may be synthetic. Both Soaps will give you wonderful benefits of nurishing goat milk soap!
I take great pride in the fact that my soap is MADE FROM SCRATCH right here in my home using the finest, most natural ingredients you can get. Making it from scratch takes time, but it’s well worth it! Keep in mind our handmade soap makes a great unique gift also, for Christmas, Birthday's, Wedding favors, Mother’s Day or just to pamper yourself with!
