Navajo Tribal Utility Authority

Since 1959, NTUA has extended electricity, water, natural gas, wastewater treatment, and photovoltaic (solar power) services to residents and businesses throughout the 27,000 square-mile Navajo Nation. To support the operations of the different utilities, NTUA is organized into five Districts and four Sub-offices. Each District and Sub-office serves as the central point for customer service and utility operation. The Districts are equipped with manpower, materials, and equipment, as well as business systems to support operations within their respective service regions. The district offices are located Shiprock, Kayenta, Dilkon, Chinle, Fort Defiance, Crownpoint, and Tuba City. The sub-offices are in Red Mesa and Nageezi. At NTUA, our goal has always remained the same - to enhance customer service by incorporating respect, equality, and accountability. We do this by striving to provide excellent service that exceeds expectations. We take pride in our work and accept the responsibility of serving the great Navajo Nation to meet its multi-utility needs.
