The Naval Academy Primary School is dedicated to providing preschool and elementary school education in a nurturing environment at a reasonable cost. Small structured classes, rarely exceeding 18 students, promote close interaction. Small classes also provide the flexibility to adapt individual lessons and challenge each child to his/her ability level. Teachers work with the students in all areas of development.
The preschool program provides children ages 3 to 5 with a positive school experience in a nurturing atmosphere. The formal academic curriculum begins in kindergarten.
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade benefit from a well-rounded curriculum, including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, art, music, French (except for kindergarten), library, and computer skills. Before- and after-school care is available along with various after-school enrichment programs.
