NBX is your local, family owned bike shop and RI's largest Trek Bicycle dealer. Voted "Best of RI" by Rhode Island Monthly.

In May 2007 NBX was created when we purchased the family owned Narragansett Bikes, founded in 1989. Then, in May of 2013, Reed Caster, the third generation owner of Caster's Bicycles, sold his family business to us and felt that in doing so, was keeping the business "in the family."

Our philosophy is that cycling should be fun for people of all ages and abilities. With more than twenty years experience in the industry, we feel we know how to guide you to that goal. As avid riders ourselves, we understand the thrill, the fun, the joy of cycling and are even more excited to help you find the aspect of cycling that will make riding a bike an integral aspect of your life. Cycling is truly an activity that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.

We aim to create an inviting atmosphere in our shops to provide you with expert customer service, whether you are a beginner, enthusiast, competitive racer, or enjoy the more extreme variations of riding: BMX, freestyle or mountain biking.
