Nebraska Families Collaborative

NFC was created in 2009 in an effort to improve the outcomes of children and families in the foster care system in Nebraska. NFC provides case management for children and families in the Eastern Service Area (ESA), which comprises Douglas and Sarpy Counties.

NFC’s five partner organizations include:

• Father Flanagan's Boys' Home (Boys Town)
• Child Saving Institute
• Heartland Family Service
• Nebraska Family Support Network
• OMNI Behavioral Health

Ultimately, our goal is to help establish permanency for every child while ensuring that safety always comes first. This cannot be done alone, so NFC staff work with more than 50 local providers to help connect children and families to services and supports they need to be successful.

We know that the children we help are part of our community–they are our neighbors, our friends and our families.
