NEBRASKA NEPALESE SOCIETY

We are starting an emergency relief fund in Nebraska to assist with all efforts in Nepal. You can either donate here or donate to Nebraska Nepalese Society (NNS) and we will coordinate.

Who we are: NNS is running this fundraiser (Amrit is coordinating). NNS is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. NNS has $0 overhead as its a volunteer based charitable organization.

Where you are from: We are based out of Omaha, NE.

Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for: Nepalese living abroad. In one-way or another, many of our families are affected by this disaster.

How the funds will be spent : We are coordinating with various other NGOs, NPOs to ensure these funds will go directly towards relief efforts such as Shelter, Medical Care, Food, and Potable Water in Nepal. In addition, NNS is directly working with other grassroots organizations and leveraging volunteers in Nepal. NNS has a team representing Nepalese living in Nebraska; Nebraskans on the ground to assist with all necessary relief efforts and make an initial assessment. These efforts will help us build a more cohesive grassroots, bottom up approach. We are leveraging all our extended connections in Nepal; NNS Network is wide reaching and we will use it to full extent so that all donations go directly to the people affected by this tragedy.
