Nelson Place Apartments

Nelson Place Apartments is an independent living community for the young at heart. Inside our clean and tidy building is a Movie theater, Ice Cream Shoppe (Coffee and Cookies in the Winter, Ice Cream in the Spring and Summer), Salon, Store, Town Hall, Library, Art's and Crafts Room, Exercise Room (New Equipment Coming Soon) and we are in the process of converting one of other rooms into a computer room. We have a building that is big enough for our neighbors to walk laps in every morning to get exercise too!

You can join us for Movies and Popcorn (make mine with some extra butter please!) on Thursdays. If you are in the mood for a little shopping we have a bus that leaves at 10am everyday. Want to go out to eat with neighbors and friends? We have a bus that takes us out on Fridays to restaurants of our choosing! Is it too cold to go outside? Well we have resident planned socials every other Friday night as well. We aim to please to help make our Nelson Place Family grow!

Our apartments are beautifully designed for those that want to continue to live independently. We have emergency pull cords in our bedrooms and bathrooms, and we also have grab bars to help get us in and out of the tub/shower safely. (This definitely puts our loved ones at ease.)

Our maintenance staff has been here for several years and they know the building inside and out. John and both Wendy's (Yep. That's right we have two!) help make this place our home.
