NETworX for Hope Randolph is a initiative to break the cycle of poverty in our county by building relationships across lines of class, race, and culture in order to strengthen and transform lives and communities. Through weekly meetings and classes, we seek to acknowledge the full dimensions of poverty and move beyond strategies of rescue & relief to a mindset embracing mutual abundance in resources including financial, spiritual, cultural, emotional, relational, social, and physical. Our vision is to work together to create a community where all can flourish. We meet weekly to share a meal and learn together. New participants are invited to go through a 15-week training program. After the class, they are paired with others in the community who will surround them with a network of support as they each strive to reach the goals they have set for themselves. At the same time, they also become leaders as we work together to identify and address issues in our community that keep people from thriving.
