New Castle United Methodist Church

We are a Christ centered congregation located in New Castle - Henry County. We offer two services on Sunday mornings (9am contemporary and 11am traditional). Additionally, we offer Sunday school for all ages at 10am.

For Youth and Children, we offer a Middle and High School Youth Group from 6:30 - 8pm on Sundays and Little Fish (K-5th grade) which meet on Wednesday nights. We work with many local congregations to support Boy Scouts of all ages (We tend to produce a lot of Eagle Scouts).

For Adults, we offer several outlets for gatherings: There is a United Methodist Women's Fellowship which meets one Thursday each month and a Women's Bible Study Group (Monday evenings).

New Castle UMC also supports many "Hands of Christ" to our community ministries. We support the local backpack program for school children and provide many boxes for Samaritan's Purse throughout the year. Additionally, we own the Henry County Help Center. The HCHC is an ecumenically based food shelter operated out of our former Eminence UMC church building. If you are a Henry County resident in need of food, please contact the church for further details. We offer a loving and open environment where you will be treated with dignity and respect. We will schedule an appointment with you each month where you wait inside while we gather your already prepared boxes; we even take them to your vehicle for you.

We are in partnership with Dare to Care and are always in need of volunteers, food donations (many restrictions apply) and boxes for the HCHC.
